Netgun staff were involved in the UK Cisco Channel during its inception in the early 1990's and were partly responsible for its creation whilst working at RBR Networks (now Comstor).
In 2000 Netgun Solutions was established to provide Cisco Partners with an alternative to this distribution channel in instances where they fail with lead-times or provide uncompetitive pricing.
As an independent company, Netgun are not tied to the same purchasing conditions as UK Cisco distributors and can therefore source new Cisco hardware quickly and priced competitively when you are under pressure to deliver.
With the flexibility to source Cisco hardware throughout Europe, we are able to deliver the same equipment you are used to from your UK distributor, carrying the manufacturers warranty and fully eligible for UK SMARTnet support contracts, but with the addition of being able to significantly reduce lead-times and provide potential costs savings.
As the networking industry has matured, Netgun’s expertise has widened to provide the same level of knowledge and services for other networking manufacturers – Hewlett Packard, Juniper Networks and Nortel Networks.
With each manufacturer comes a variety of procurement challenges which we undertake on your behalf. Again, our independence allows us to offer you a realistic alternative when your incumbent distributor cannot meet your required lead-time or price discount.
As with all new networking hardware bought from Netgun, we source only through EMEA channels meaning you will receive the same equipment you’re used to from UK distributors, carrying the full manufacturer’s warranty and fully eligible for global maintenance support contracts.
